Rendez-Vous Pointe-Claire

This was our first visit to Rendez-Vous, and what a beautiful surprise it turned out to be. I had originally called to book a table at their sister restaurant, Lou's, which was fully booked. The owner kindly suggested we try Rendez-Vous instead—and I'm so glad we did. After making the reservation, I looked up the menu online and was disappointed to see there wasn’t much that suited my dietary restrictions. I called back to cancel, explaining the situation. That’s when I spoke to Jono (hope I’m spelling that right!), and his response left such an impression. He simply said, “Come in—we’ll make something for you.” That kind of hospitality is rare, and it convinced me to keep the reservation. When we arrived, we checked again if Lou's had any availability (still full), so we made our way to Rendez-Vous, where we were greeted by Lenny, a warm and bubbly hostess who instantly made us feel at home. The space is intimate—only about 20 seats—so it’s cozy, quiet, and perfect for a relaxing dinner. We started with the salads and the house focaccia, both fresh and delicious. My husband had the seabass for his main, which he really enjoyed—cooked perfectly with great flavors. I, on the other hand, had no idea what I was getting, since the chef had crafted something special just for me. And wow—what a dish! Tender chicken in a rich, flavorful sauce, served with a refreshing celery, cucumber, and apple salad. It was light, vibrant, and absolutely perfect for my palate. A total win. From the first phone call to the last bite, the service at Rendez-Vous was impeccable. They went above and beyond to accommodate me and did it with such kindness and grace. If you're looking for an intimate spot with thoughtful service and exceptional food, Rendez-Vous is it. Just make sure to book in advance—seating is limited, and it's a place worth discovering.

Very cute and cozy place for tasty food! WAW I'm happy to see new great restaurants being added to the West Island. This is a very small restaurant, but cozy and friendly service. The food is prepared before your eyes, reasonable price and portion size. I enjoyed the cocktail as well. I recommend!

We had the most delicious dinner and wonderful date night. We’ll for sure be returning. I suggest sitting at the bar so the the kitchen action and get to know the staff.

cute spot! LOVE the caesar salad it was so good. the burrata was good too but woulda thought it would come w some bread. we didnt like our mains as much as the appetizers (rigatoni and rotolo)

Make the trip! Top three dining experiences of 2025 so far for me. Adorable ambience, sensational, service, and a menu that is chalk full of flavourful yet elevated classics. Accessible with the right amount of fanciness. Every dish absolutely delicious!

Everything was so good. I had the burrata with house focaccia, the grilled broccoli, and the delicata squash (10/10). I loved the open kitchen concept by the bar so you can watch the chefs cook! The staff, from the servers to the chefs were just fantastic and so welcoming. I had a great time, will definitely come back :)
